USCIS recently issued a January 2013 frequently asked questions (FAQ) document on the new process that will allow certain spouses, children and parents of a U.S. citizen to apply for a provisional unlawful presence waiver while they are still in the U.S.

USCIS Expands Capabilities of Online Tools & Adds Saturday Customer Service Hours

USCIS announced new options for customers to obtain information and check the status of applications via two online tools, My Case Status and e-Request. Beginning January 12, 2013, the USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) will expand its live, toll-free telephone assistance service to include Saturday hours from 9 am to 5 pm local time.
