The Shulman Law Group is proud to welcome our newest paralegal, Yuliya, who is fluent in both Ukrainian and Russian.  She also has a working knowledge of both Spanish and Portuguese.  Yuliya has dedicated herself to the field of Immigration Law and has spent the past five years as both a Paralegal and Translator.  She is skilled in helping to complete and file the necessary forms and applications to process a wide gamut of Immigration-related cases and in assisting clients in preparation for their Green Card, Citizenship, and Asylum interviews.

Yuliya graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2018 where she excelled in her studies and was consistently on the Dean’s List for her distinguished academic record and scholarship.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law & Society, in addition to minoring in Sociology and History. In the course of her studies, she learned about politics, public policy, and legal institutions with a particular focus on their impact on society, and society’s impact on them.  Her degree emphasis was on understanding how the law can be utilized as an instrument of political and social change.

Yuliya is devoted to helping clients from all countries and all ethic and socio-cultural backgrounds. As an immigrant herself, having moved to the United States from Ukraine, she has compassion for immigrants and tries maximally to help our clients legalize their status in the United States.
